What is stand alone dvr?
Stand alone dvr is a digital video recorder device that records the surveillance video from your security camera. Unlike the PC Base DVR which runs on an Operating System such as Window or Linux System, the Stand alone dvr runs on its own embedded software. Stand alone DVR are getting more popular to the surveillance industry because of its sleek design, space saver, reliable and cost efficient. The Stand alone dvr has all the neccessary features and more to get surveillance recording. The only big drawback with using stand alone dvr is with future upgrade such as software or equipments, one might be limited to do such. Unlike the PC base DVR you can always replace your old video capture card, or do future software upgrades. For customer who wants to record videos but are not looking into doing too much of networking then we recommend to go with the Stand Alone DVR. Customer who intend on future expand of networking then the dvr we recommend to go with is the PC Base DVR. We offer 4ch DVR, 8ch DVR,16ch DVR, and 32ch DVR. What does ch means? ch means Channel. Say 4ch = Up to 4 cameras can be plugged in.etc...8ch = up to 8 cameras can be plug in.... What is storage capacity means? In each DVR there are slot/s for hard drive. Some DVR already include hard drive, other don't. This hard drive device are removeable, and can be upgraded in future at any retail location. Some dvr has a maximum storage capacity, other have unlimited capacity. The larger the capacity of this storage device means you can save more surveillance videos to your hard drive before it gets full, and you have to delete again and re-record. Some hard drive can help you record for days, other goes for weeks if not months before hard drive gets full. So the larger the hard drive the better it is for you. Technical Questions on DVR What if I lose my password? If you lose your password, please submit support form and ask our tech support. There are buttons to press to Reset password. All Digital Video Recorders have different special key resetting functions. We'll gladly assist you with that. How do I burn surveillance video I recorded to the CD from stand alone dvr? **First make sure the DVR you purchase from us have the CD-Burner option with CD-Drive installed** Some dvr might work differently. And also try to go back to play your video you recorded. Make sure the video is stored in the hard drive other wise if it was accidently deleted then the CD burning will not work and you will see no video burn. Go to DVR "MENU" then click on the following: > SETUP MENU > MISC SETUP > HDD/HARD DRIVE MANAGEMENT > CD-RW BACKUP >THERE IS START AND END TIME ...then do time setup etc:: START TIME: HARD DRIVE (INFORMATION

Each DVR purchase was given a Softare Disk (1pc). Inside that 1-Software contains 2-Programs #1) Backup CD Player software and #2) Remote Viewer software 2. Place our software into your computer. Open our Softare. Select the “Backup CD Player program” and download to your computer. Make sure to know where you save the software enable to open it later. 3.
