What is a hidden camera? Hidden
camera has a tiny pinhole camera built inside of an object
such as a jacket, or a plant. Mostly use for spy type jobs.We
carry 2 types of Hidden Camera - Standard Hidden Camera & Body
Worn hidden camera (wired or wireless). Standard hidden camera
are one you leave at a remote place, like homes etc....and
body worn hidden camera are On-The-Go application type surveillance
- you can wear it on you. The following below are samples
of how each layout work to help you get a better understanding.
Does wireless hidden camera, means no source of wired
attached? No, it doesnt. It could be special made but
must use lithium battery which can be very costly to make.
Standard wireless hidden camera use 12v power adapter or
double AA x 8pcs - battery pack, to keep it going. Wireless
video cable has been prewired onto the power line. But
no matter if it is wire or wireless you must always give
it power. So a power line will be hanging out.
Wired Hidden camera consist of 2 lines coming out from hidden
camera. Video cable and Power line.

A.Here in this diagram is a standard hidden
camera such as a teddy bear layout. Each standard hidden cam or nanny cam, has
power cable and video cable prewired. You will then hook up the power connection
from the hidden camera to the power adapter and plug other end to wall outlet.
Then on the other side of the room where you are planning to put your recorder
or monitor,
a receiver will be hook up to the vcr or monitor.

receiver or
transmitter.
Bodyworn hidden camera are more complex to use. Especially use by private
investigators. Here are sample of wire and wireless bodyworn on the go application
hidden surveillance.
Where will I put the batterpack, receiver, etc...? Well use your creative
imagination. Thats what hidden surveillance spy camera is all about. Take a
backpack, suitcase, whatever you can come up with. You will wear the wireless
hidden body worn camera say a "cap" example. A power line will come
down from the cap. You will plug that power line to the batterpack (AA x 8
pcs ) and on the other end you will have a receiver where the images will be
recorded to. You plug the receiver to power source such as battery pack, and
other end to portable mini DVR (we carry) or a digital camcorder. However and
whatever you think is best and most convenience.
Can I put the receiver and recording device at another location such as
a car? Yes you can. You have up to 700 feet "line of sight" and "open
space", meaning no wall comes between you/camera and receiver/recorder.
Remember be creative, and use your creativity. Most investigators would go
for this kind of project (also know that they might add additional antenna
type devices to give them more frequency and their car is equipped with alot
of items. But we highly recommend you go (wired) when comes to bodyworn hidden
camera type. That way you dont lose frequency at any times. **Keep in mind,
any such interference as other people using wireless devices may affect your
frequency and could blur out recorded images** Wired are the most reliable
way to go at any given time.
