Mini Portable DVR

1. When playback mode how can I view time and date? Time and Date won't show during playback stage. To see Time & Date just upload your portable DVR to your computer and time and date will show.

2. Can I transfer my information from hardrive to a mini DV tape or 8mm tape? Well depends. You can either do one of the two ways.

a) If you your DV tape or 8mm tape player has an audio/video in then just press "Play" on mini DVR and hit "Record" on tape player.

b)If your DV tape or 8mm tape player has USB Input then you can upload the your info from Harddrive to computer and download back to tape player. Most standard DV or tape player has RCA / VHS input connection. So check to be sure.

 

Stand-Alone DVR

1. Can I use my computer monitor with my Stand-Alone DVR? Well most standard Stand-Alone DVR comes with cctv video input BNC connection. You can either find a stand-alone with SVGA input (for computer monitor) or purchased VGA convertor, which can converts to use your computer monitor. Same goes to Television, purchase BNC to RCA connector and you can use a regular TV.

2. What is remote viewing? Stand-Alone DVR comes with "Remote Viewing" or "Non-Remote Veiewing". Remote view means you can remotely view from another location beside where the DVR is at. It works like this. Remote View stand-alone comes with its Remote Software. To remote view you must have an ip address/internet connection base, this way you can remotely view from anywhere in the world, just log in. Many users out there, prefer simply to use digital surveillance without alot of complication/technical stuff, then the Non-Remote View Stand-Alone DVR is best for those users.

3. How many camera can be plug to Stand-Alone DVR? Up to 4 Camera, Up to 8 Camera, and Up to 16 Camera. (4, 8, 16 channel DVR)
