Coaxial Cable with BNC type connection are mostly use for installers/professional usage. Coaxial video cable are more durable and higher quality usage than the plug n play type RCA cable. Its harder to install, but also more durable and is more reliable in connectivity. Video Coaxial cable usually comes in Roll of 500 feet or 1000 feet, while the RCA video cable comes in minimum of 66 feet and up.

Question 1. Can I use the Coaxial Cable and use RCA connectors? Yes, of course you can, all you do is use the connector > BNC/RCA (one end is the BNC connection and other end will be RCA connection) . Most RCA connection are such as, TV's and VCR's. All Video Surveillance mainly use BNC connection for durability and reliability.There are several types of connectors. Mainly popular ones are three type. 1. BNC/BNC 2. BNC/RCA 3. The RCA Cable is a plug and play type video cable, where you will mostly use on regular television, or recorders. Do I have to use all connection? No you don't. Just use whichever is neccessary. If you dont' have an audio camera, then you dont have to plug the audio plug in.
